Dave Kievet was appointed chief operating officer for The Boldt Co. Bob DeKoch, who previously was president and COO, continues as president. Kievet has worked for Boldt since 1990, most recently as divisional president for western and southern operations. In his new role, Kievet will provide corporate direction to all operating groups and oversee Boldt Technical Services. He will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Appleton. In addition to Kievet, Boldt announced Jim Kleinfeldt has been named president of the real estate division and Jim Lee will continue as division president with the added role of senior vice president for the company.


Tony Ahern was named president and chief operating officer of J.F. Ahern Co. He will have responsibility for all P&L units and operations. Tripp Ahern, who has served as president for 25 years and CEO since 1997, will continue to serve as CEO and will assume the responsibilities of chairman of the board of directors. After 60 years of professional contributions to Ahern, John Ahern will become chairman emeritus of the board of directors. In addition, Tim Schneider took over as executive vice president of the company’s Milwaukee Division, and Grant Nadler was promoted to general manager of its Northeast Division.


New hires

Albert Selker was named president of We Care Senior Care, dba Home Instead Senior Care.

Nicolet National Bank hired Kristy Maney, senior vice president, private banking director, and promoted Eric Siudzinski to senior vice president, commercial banking manager for Green Bay.

First Business Bank hired Nicole Sinkler as vice president – private wealth management.

East Wisconsin Savings Bank hired Kory Schneider as vice president of member experience.

John Koker was named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Christina Studebaker was named workforce development project manager for the Door County Economic Development Corp.

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders hired Marcus Wiegert as director of business and community development.

NOVO Health hired Sean Johnson as editor/publisher of NOVO Live and manager of public relations.

UnitedOne hired Rob Reindl as Financial Services Center coordinator.

The Boldt Co. announced new hires: John Egan, senior creative director; Katie Geiser, financial services coordinator; and Cara Janssen, marketing associate.

Jesse Drake joined Marketplace Financial Group, LLC as a financial adviser.

Insight Creative Inc. hired Sam Konshak as visual content designer.

Element hired Adam Bormann as a paid digital media specialist and promoted Molly Wentworth to traffic manager.

Energy Control & Design Inc. hired Chad Litscher as a project manager/estimator.

Keller Inc. announced new hires: Damian Hanson, Dillon Thede and Riley Baer as building craftsmen.

BayCare Clinic Anesthesia hired anesthesiologist David W. Barbara

Prevea Health announced new hires: Erin Stevens, gynecologic oncologist, and OB/GYN Jessica Leszczynski at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay; and dermatologists Jerry Miller and Kolleen Zimmermann at Holmgren Way Health Center.

Amber Kornely joined the Holy Family Memorial Primary Care team in Two Rivers as a nurse practitioner.

Justin Schendel joined Integrity Insurance as commercial lines underwriting manager, and the company promoted Nate Rebarchik to director, auto and property claims.

Nikki Hessel was named executive director of Future Neenah Inc.


Robert Brockington was promoted to chief operating officer of AZCO Inc.

LaForce promoted Chad Mehlberg to vice president of operations.

T.J. Lamers was named vice president of Integrated Public Resources, LLC, a McMahon Group company. McMahon hired Ed Erickson, plumbing systems designer.

Ayres Associates named Kevin Kuhlow manager of its traffic services group, supervising traffic staff who provide traffic analysis and engineering services around the nation from multiple offices.

GENEX announced promotions: Abby Tauchen, global dairy product manager; Nick Hemauer, vice president, global sales support; and Terri Dallas, vice president, member relations. The company also hired Tieha Kuczer, customer service representative; and Adina Bunke, custodian aide.


Appleton Downtown Inc. honored individuals at its 2018 Downtown Awards Celebration: Robert Glasheen, Downtown Volunteer Award; Mai Vang and Fong Lee, Dreamers and Doers Award; and Oliver Zornow, Bernie Pearlman Downtown Award.

The Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce recognized individuals at its 111th Meeting and Recognition Program: Marcus Butts, Ambassador of the Year Award; Joe LeRoy, Chamber Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award; Jim Macy, Lynne Webster Leadership Award; Katie Talken, Propel Young Professional Award; and Dr. John Anderson, Distinguished Service Award.

Dan Schetter, general manager of the Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center
in Oshkosh, received the 2018 Best Western General Manager Heroic Hospitality Stars Award.

Randy Lorge of UA 400 Pipe Trades Training Facility received the Industry Person of the Year award from the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.

Jeanie Danielak received the 2018 Mary L. Staudenmaier WINGS Award from the Stephenson National Bank & Trust for her participation in public service for the community. Laura Phelps and Hailey Schultz received the Stephenson National Bank & Trust Award of Excellence.

Gary Cebulski of Appleton completed the requirements for the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional certification.

The De Pere Rotary will present Cliff Christl, team historian for the Green Bay Packers, with its Lee Remmel Superior Achievement Award, and sports personality Dennis Krause with its Professional Achievement Award.

Robert Houle of Carmella’s an Italian Bistro was named champion of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Chef Showdown and Taste of the Town.

Steve Klessig, vice president of architecture and engineering for Keller Inc., was elected as secretary of the Associated Builders and Contractors National Executive Committee.

Strang, Patteson, Renning, Lewis & Lacy, s.c. announced Kirk Strang was named to the 2018 Wisconsin Super Lawyers list and Jenna Rousseau was named to the 2018 Rising Star list.

Eric Childs, DDS, of Govani Dental was inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy and graduated from the Wisconsin Dental Association’s Leadership Academy.

Board appointments

John Sturgill, vice president with McMahon and manager of its Valparaiso, Ind., regional office, was appointed to the McMahon board of directors.
