Darwin Copeman, president and CEO of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, was recognized by the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) with its Ben Kaiser Award, which recognizes men who promote the roles of women within the jewelry industry. Jared Ashland was promoted to vice president of information technology at Jewelers Mutual. Ashland has been with the company since 2006.

Craig D. Aderhold of Wisconsin Bank & Trust in Green Bay was named executive vice president and senior commercial banker. He will oversee the company’s 10 statewide offices. Aderhold was named Financial Services Champion for Wisconsin by the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2012.

Secura Insurance President and CEO John Bykowski will retire effective July 1, 2014. Bykowski led Secura for 16 years and will continue as chairman of the board after his retirement. Senior Vice President-Underwriting Operations Dave Gross will be appointed president and chief operating officer on Sept. 1. In this capacity, he adds responsibility for claims operations. This promotion positions Gross to become president and CEO effective the day after Bykowski retires. Gross joined Secura in 1997 as vice president-sales. Senior Vice President and CFO Kathryn Sieman will be appointed as executive vice president on Sept. 1. She also will remain CFO and continue to lead the company’s finance and information technology areas. Sieman joined Secura in 1992.

Susan Peltier was hired as hospitality sales manager at Séura in Green Bay. Peltier previously worked as a general manager for Western Racquet & Fitness Club and as a design consultant for Murray’s Iron Works.

Angela Raleigh of Leonard & Finco Public Relations, Inc. was promoted to senior account executive. Raleigh has been with the firm for five years. Kristen Paquet was promoted to senior account executive/social media manager. Paquet has been with the company for six years and is certified in website design development.

Raechelle Clemmons was appointed to the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education advisory board. Clemmons is the vice president and CIO of St. Norbert College.

Wipfli LLP named Dan Pichler partner-in-charge of the firm’s Green Bay office. Pichler succeeds Ken Krueger, who retired in May after leading the Green Bay office for more than 25 years.

The Bemis Company Inc. board of directors elected CEO and President Henry J. Theisen as chairman. Theisen succeeds William J. Bolton, a director since 2000 and chairman since 2011. Bolton will serve until his term expires in 2015. The board also appointed Timothy M. Manganello to serve as the independent lead director.

Joe Wolfe is the new CEO of Wisconsin Business Development Finance Corporation, which is based in Madison with Northeast Wisconsin offices in Oshkosh and Green Bay. He previously served as president. He also will continue to be a member of the WBDFC Board of Directors. Dan Schneider was promoted to president and COO. Pam Rich was promoted to executive vice president and CFO.

Brian Robinson was hired as the account executive for tower sales at Nsight Telservices in De Pere. Robinson has almost 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Nsight Telservices expanded its business solutions to include tower space and backhaul services earlier this year. Lisa Beaupied-Pum was hired as director of customer care. She has 15 years of leadership experience in information systems and customer support.

Carrie Ferrier and Timothy Verhagen of Omnni Associates in Appleton recently earned their Professional Traffic Operations Engineer Certification from the Transportation Professional Certification Board. Their work will include transportation planning, traffic signal design and timing, traffic data collection and analysis and construction staging.

Keith Keller was hired at Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin as the leader of its e-commerce team. Keller has more than 25 years of leadership and product delivery experience. Rachel Fitzpatrick was hired at Goodwill Industries in Ashwaubenon as a team leader for the donations team. Paige Kroll was hired at Goodwill Industries in Sheboygan as a team leader for the programs and new goods team. Sarah LeMay of Goodwill Industries in Green Bay was named “Outstanding Achiever” for August. LeMay has been working at the Green Bay location since January 2011.

Kelly Patterson joined Lutheran Homes of Oshkosh as director of nursing for Eden Rehabilitation Suites and Green House Homes. Patterson received her master’s degree in nursing from UW-Oshkosh and has 17 years of experience.

Michelle Palubicki has joined Navigator Planning Group in Green Bay as director of marketing. Palubicki was formerly marketing manager at the Green Bay Packers and Wipfli LLP.

Dr. Rebecca Buell-Gutbrod joined the medical staff at Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center as an associate staff pathologist. Dr. Buell-Gutbrod is certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and trained in women’s health with a special interest in cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancer. Nurse practitioner Jammi Cairns is now on staff as specialist in pain management at Comprehensive Pain Management of the Fox Valley, S.C. Diana Scharine was hired at ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano as a family nurse practitioner in primary care and hospital medicine. She also will practice at Shawano Medical Center.

Manitowoc Cranes has named Ingo Schiller as executive vice president for its Manitowoc Crane Care customer support division. Schiller will continue with his current responsibilities as senior vice president of global marketing and product development on an interim basis. Raman Joshi will head Manitowoc Cranes’ operations in the Greater Asia-Pacific region.

Fox Communities Credit Union hired Nancy Kopetsky as a mortgage loan officer. Kopetsky will work from the Wisconsin Avenue branch in Appleton. She has more than 24 years of mortgage lending experience.

Clinical psychologist Susan M. Oestreicher was hired at Catalpa Health in Appleton. Oestreicher specializes in mental health evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University. With this addition, Catalpa Health now has six psychologists, two prevention specialists, four psychiatrists and 12 therapists.

Camera Corner Connecting Point of Green Bay announced the promotions of Michael D’Amico, Matt Bloohm, Eric Peterson and Marc Lemke. D’Amico is the new director of engineering services, Bloohm is the new director of voice communications, Peterson is the new manager of NetAssist, CCCP’s data center and Lemke is the new chief technology director of IT.

James R. Henderson was appointed as interim CEO of School Specialty of Greenville. He replaced Michael P. Lavelle, former president and CEO who resigned Aug. 2.

Susan Finco, owner and president of Leonard & Finco Public Relations, Inc., has been elected to the Army War College Foundation Board of Trustees. The U.S. Army War College provides masters-level coursework to prepare select U.S. military officers and civilians for leadership positions in the Armed Services. Finco is a 2010 alumnus of the college’s National Security Seminar.

Chad Davis joined Consolidated Construction Company, Inc. of Appleton as assistant superintendent-western states. Davis worked in construction-related industries for more than 12 years. Barry Thorson was hired as a superintendent. Thorson previously worked in carpentry.

Joseph W. Faulds joined Stellflug Law, S.C. in De Pere as an associate attorney. He will focus on litigation and trials, business and corporate law and personal injury.

Paul Jablonski has joined SRC Technologies in De Pere as an IT service management consultant.

Dr. David J. Lenz joined Primary Care Associates of Appleton. Dr. Lenz is an internal medicine physician and a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dustin Cotton was hired as business development manager for GAIN, the compressed natural gas brand for U.S. Venture Inc. in Appleton. He will work from his office in Dallas.

Stellar Blue Web Design LLC of Appleton hired Emily Janssen as an administrative and marketing assistant.

CitizensFirst Credit Union in Oshkosh announced the appointment of Dale O’Keefe, loan operations manager, to the Services Council of the Wisconsin Credit Union League. The 22-member council serves in an advisory capacity to both the not-for-profit League and the for-profit League Services Corp.

Rustin Schwandt of Appleton recently joined Somerville Architects and Engineers in Green Bay as an intern architect. Schwandt has a master’s degree in architecture from UW-Milwaukee.

Tony Gonzalez joined United Way Fox Cities as vice president of community development. Gonzalez previously worked as the executive director of the Thompson Community Center. Josh Kilgas was named resource development officer. Kilgas previously worked as an intern in the United Way Fox Cities 2-1-1 Call Center. Susan Perri joined the company as marketing and communications assistant. She previously worked as the co-director of the Thailand Project, a non-profit organization that she co-founded in 2005. Michele Losey is now the United Way Fox Cities Youth Board advisor and teen symposium organizer.

Mike Weller, president of Miller Electric Mfg. Co., earned the 2013 Technical Education Champion award from the Wisconsin Technical College System District Boards Association.

Jonathon Brandt joined Schenck SC in Appleton as a staff accountant.
