Michael McMahon, vice president/senior architect with McMAHON, has joined McMAHON’s Board of Directors, which currently includes Denny Lamers, Tom Kocken, Carl Sutter, Tom Bronn and Vic Lutz. The company also announced that Chad Olsen, Don Voogt, Paul Benedict, Matt Greely and John Sturgill were named vice presidents of the firm. Olsen, Voogt, Benedict and Greely will provide services from McMahon’s Neenah headquarters while Sturgill manages the firm’s Valparaiso, Ind., branch office.

Vital Essentials appointed Marc Heinonen as Midwest regional sales manager.

Prospera Credit Union hired Jerry Ramus as its new vice president of commercial lending.

Affinity Health System and Ministry Health Care hired Tracy Rank to Affinity Medical Group’s family medicine department at its South Koeller Street clinic in Oshkosh.

Choice Bank promoted Corey Mikkelson to IT operations officer.

Susan Smith, executive vice president – chief human resources officer at Investors Community Bank, completed the Graduate School of Banking-Human Resource Management School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The Association of Donor Recruitment Professionals presented Community Blood Center President/Chief Executive Officer John Hagins with the Ronald O. Gilcher, MD Award for his continued dedication for recruitment and aims to inspire new donors.

The Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh hired Tom McDermott as a business consultant.

Peter J. Prickett, president/CEO of The First National Bank – Fox Valley, will serve as the 2016-2017 past chair of the Wisconsin Bankers Association. First National Bank – Fox Valley promoted John Hintz to senior commercial banker and hired Kalley Haen, Natalie Maas, Pat Mahoney, Dawn Pennington, Ashley Kuepper, Cassondra Aldrich and Andy Poquette. Haen, Maas and Aldrich were hired as full-time tellers; Mahoney and Kuepper have been hired as part-time tellers; Pennington was hired as a universal banker and Poquette was hired as a treasury management specialist.

Theresa Lehman, director of sustainable services for Miron Construction Co. Inc., was named one of 23 WELL Faculty worldwide and is one of 119 individuals who have earned the credential of WELL Accredited Professional administered by Green Business Certification, Inc. which also administers the LEED credential and certification programs. Miron Construction Co., Inc. also hired Nancy Kocken and Amy Schmitt as business analysts at its corporate headquarters. The company also hired Ben Burrill in warehouse operations and Casey Theissen as a heavy equipment diesel mechanic.

Oshkosh Corporation promoted John Bryant to president of Oshkosh Defense, and senior vice president of Oshkosh Corporation. Bryant previously served as senior vice president of Defense programs for Oshkosh Defense and will now lead all aspects of the company’s global defense segment.

U.S. Cellular promoted John Heimsch to director of sales for its corporate-owned channel in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. In this role, he will oversee sales at the wireless carrier’s 49 corporate-owned locations throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.

Brad Severson of R.A. Smith National was promoted to project manager in the transportation division, responsible for the design and transportation facilities for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, county highway departments and local units of government.

Denmark State Bank hired Joe Liermann to the Agribusiness Team as an associate agribusiness banker and will work directly with the credit department and loan officers.

The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium recognized two University of Wisconsin-Green Bay students for their outstanding academic work: James Vasquez was awarded the STEM Bridge Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year and Justin Rasmussen is a recipient of the Elijah Balloon Payload Fellowship award.

Holy Family Memorial hired Richard O’Farrell as its new director of fund and legislative relations. O’Farrell will be responsible for directing and enriching the engagement and support of HFM donors and legislators. Laura Fielding was promoted to vice president of organizational engagement and chief administrative officer for Holy Family Memorial Hospital which will include an expanded role and participation at the senior and governance levels of the organization. In this role, Fielding will also maintain overall accountability and/or coordination for organizational engagement, human resources, education, employee heath and other fields. 

Integrity Insurance hired Julie Scharschmidt as a commercial lines underwriting manager. The company also promoted Pat Hughes to commercial field underwriter.

Cooperative Resources International hired Kasey Haars as an international business specialist. The company also promoted Brandy Slater as an office assistant.

The board of directors of the Oral Health Partnership hired Michael Schwartz-Oscar as the organization’s executive director. 

Menominee Indian School District Superintendent Wendell Waukau was appointed to the national advisory committee for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Leaders Program.

Investors Community Bank hired four new employees: Bill Pfingsten, senior vice president – Ag Banking; Matthew Lemke, vice president – Banking Services; Michael Duenkel, electronic banking associate and Phil Fonfara, commercial credit analyst.

Eric Hass has been selected as the president elect of the National Association for Information Destruction. Haas is president and CEO of ARMS Inc., of De Pere, an information management and data protection company.

Four regional business leaders have been named to the board of directors for New North, Inc. New members include Francesco Valente, Financial Marine Group; Greg Barber, Schenck; John Kreul, Bemis Company and Vern Peterson, Wisconsin Public Service.

Diane Schwartz was hired as director of information security, risk and compliance for Nsight of Green Bay.

Justin Wroblewski, assistant vice president and business banking officer of The Stephenson National Bank & Trust, graduated from the Wisconsin Bankers Association Leadership Development Program for Community Bankers, a one-year program offered through the Center for Professional and Executive Development at the UW- Madison School of Business in conjunction with the WBA.

Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity added Jackie Hintz and Kathi P. Seifert to its board of directors.

Independent Printing of De Pere hired Vicki Seichter as a sales account manager, servicing southeastern Wisconsin.

Amy J. Sitter, a certified trust and financial advisor, joined Copper Harbor Investment Advisors, Little Chute, as a partner.

Keller, Inc., Planners Architects and Builders hired Brandon Elrick as an assistant project manager – intern for its Kaukauna office. The company also promoted Kyle Vander Loop to manager of construction services.

Jason Busse was promoted to a full-time web developer with Stellar Blue Technologies.

Affinity Health System and Ministry Health Care hired Bridget Huenink to Affinity Medical Group’s palliative care department at the St. Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Center in Appleton and St. Elizabeth’s Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center located in Oshkosh.

Crafts, Inc. hired Zach Cropsey as an estimator/project manager for the company’s Manitowoc office.

Six new inductees will be added to the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame. Thomas Gardner, Niilo Heikki Hakkarainen (deceased), Charles Klass, Otto Kress (deceased), Irwin Pearl (deceased) and Juhani Stromberg will join 129 previous members in October.

National Exchange Bank & Trust hired Tim Van Pelt as vice president of trust. In this new role he will be providing full-service financial management for the bank’s trust customers.

Exhibit Systems hired Peter Linn as an account executive representing the company in a broad geographic swath including Green Bay, Appleton and Sheboygan.

The Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership has named Mark Kaiser, president and CEO of Lindquist Machine Corp., to its board of directors.

Performa, Inc. hired three new employees: Dale Garfield, mechanical engineer; Brian Teddy, electrical engineer and Dallas Borski, drafting technician.

Horicon Bank hired Rick Schabo as market president and business banker at the Appleton office.

The H.S. Group, Inc. has promoted Pam De Leest as director career transition services/human resource consultant. She will replace Sue Murphy, who retired after 26 years of employment with the H.S. Group.

An additional advanced practice nurse practitioner, Branden Kooiman joined Affinity Medical Group’s Employer Solutions in Menasha. Carol Veltus, DNP, APNP, FNP-BC, joined Affinity Medical Group’s endocrinology department in Menasha.

Corrie Campbell joined the team at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help as communications and events coordinator.

Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists of Green Bay welcomed Paul Tuttle, DO, a pediatric and adult rheumatologist to the staff of its rheumatology clinic.
