Jack Fischer joined Engberg Anderson Inc. as a principal. Fischer, a member of the American Institute of Architects, is a former Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce.

Suzy Pfeifer, director of marketing and fund development at Encompass Early Education & Care Inc., received the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Athena Award.

Peter Upton-Rowley was promoted to the newly created role of director of trade finance for WOW Logistics. He oversees WOW’s trade finance program that specializes in financing products for the dairy industry including aged cheddars, hard Italian cheeses and dairy powders. Upton-Rowley has been with the company since 2003 in a variety of roles, including most recently as logistics engineer.

Integrity Chiropractic in Appleton added Dr. Kate Williams. She earned her doctorate of chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. She has additional training in pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic care.

Joe Miller rejoined Consolidated Construction Co. of Appleton as an architectural designer. Miller was employed with Consolidated Construction five years ago before relocating to another city, but recently returned to the area. He has 15 years of experience and specializes in 3D design and building information modeling.

ChemDesign in Marinette added Mike Vandermuss as a project engineer. He is responsible for key toll manufacturing projects, specifically in the agricultural chemicals market. Vandermuss was previously with Archer Daniels Midland in project and plant engineering roles.

Baisch Engineering in Kaukauna recently named David Weyers and Todd Van Gompel as shareholders. Weyers has 27 years of engineering experience, including the last 16 at Baisch. He is also a member of Baisch’s executive team as a project management lead. Van Gompel has 16 years of engineering experience, with the last six at Baisch. He is also a member of the firm’s executive team serving as technical lead.

Several Davis & Kuelthau attorneys have been recognized in the 2013 edition of Wisconsin’s Best Lawyers, including James R. Macy and Tony J. Renning from the Oshkosh office and Robert W. Burns, Geoffrey A. Lacy and Adrian T. Ulatowski from the Green Bay office.

Daniel E. Neufelder, president of Affinity Health System and senior vice president for hospital operations for Ministry Health Care, received the American College of Healthcare Executives Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award at the recent American College of Healthcare Executives Wisconsin Chapter Annual Meeting in Madison.

HC Miller Co. in Green Bay recently named three new executives: William T. Hayes II as president and CEO; Nancy Hayes as vice president of sales and marketing; and Michael Schaefer as vice president of new business development.

The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce promoted Lori Kaye Lodes to director of marketing and communications. She joined the chamber in 2007 as the marketing and communications manager. Lodes recently graduated from the Institute for Organizational Management, a professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in nonprofit management.

Acuity in Sheboygan recently announced several promotions: Natalie Hollister, Jaisie Kleist, Kelly Jelinek, Alan Meyer, Melissa Meyer, Angela Miller and Laura Wagner to senior commercial underwriters; Gregory Jeffers to senior commercial field underwriter; Andrew Arentsen to senior systems engineer; and Diane Navis to senior programmer analyst.

Kevin McGillivray joined Insight Creative Inc. in Green Bay as a graphic designer/web developer.

Dr. Donn Harris joined Dental Associates in Appleton. He had his own practice in Neenah for 22 years before joining Dental Associates, Wisconsin’s largest dental group practice.

Several attorneys from Godrey & Kahn SC were listed in the 2013 edition of The Best Lawyers in America: Timothy F. Nixon, Winston A. Ostrow and William J. Plummer from the Green Bay office; and Daniel T. Flaherty and Jeffrey D. Riester from the Appleton office.

Mike Phelan is the new vice president of operations for BCI Burke, a Fond du Lac manufacturer of commercial playground, park and recreation equipment. He comes to BCI from Associated Spring-Barnes Group, a diversified spring manufacturer.

Unity nurse practitioner Kristen Moen earned her advanced certified hospice and palliative nurse recognition while registered nurse Kara Delveaux was recognized as a Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association approved educator.

Nancy Steffel, owner of The School That Comes to You, received the 2012 Daniel Whitney Award from the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes chamber volunteers.

The American Society for Quality-Winnebago Section No. 1206 has named its officers for 2012-13: Jennifer Fleisner of Rexnord Industries Flattop Division was named chair; Patti Gorr of SCA Tissue was named vice chair/chair elect; David Widner of Mayville Engineering Co. was named treasurer/newsletter chair; and Dennis Wilson of Mercury Marine was named secretary.

Bryce Roth joined CitizensFirst as director of marketing and social strategy.

Mark Vincent joined Somerville Inc. as a senior electrical engineer, focusing on energy efficient electrical design. He previously was with the Energy Center of Wisconsin.

State Rep. Andre Jacque of the Second Assembly District received the Henry S. Baird Legislator of the Year Award from Advance, the economic development division of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. Jacque was selected for his collaborative and open-door approach to working with local governments in his district, the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

Charles Garris joined CMD Corporation in Appleton as vice president of product development, engineering and technical services. He has held a series of senior level positions with the Southwire Company since 2003.

Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin added Shawn Kolb as an area team leader for the Grand Chute Goodwill Retail Store and Training Center.

Jim Putman has joined HVS Advertising-Marketing, a full-service Green Bay marketing and communications firm, as art director. He brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role.

Appleton-based Ledgeview Partners, a customer relationship management (CRM) firm, recently hired Rob Czypinski as a CRM application consultant in the software services division; Pete Hoffman as a CRM development consultant in the software services division; and Breana Whitlock as an inside sales account manager.

Immel Construction in Green Bay added Alex Santos as a project manager. In this role, he manages the construction phase of projects, developing preliminary project schedules, managing the project timeline to maintain construction schedule and developing preliminary construction budgets. Santos has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional.

First Business Bank in Appleton added Kim Bassett-Heitzmann, president and CEO of Bassett Mechanical in Kaukauna, and Laurie Benson, CEO of LSB Unlimited, to its board of directors.

Renny Diedrich, a broker with Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in Appleton, is the new chairwoman of the Wisconsin Realtors Association Board of Directors.

Mae Ibe of the Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau was selected to the Wisconsin Chapter of Meeting Professionals International Hall of Fame.

Erin Wilkum is the new director of development and communications for CHAPS, a Shiocton-based non-profit organization that helps children through equine-assisted psychotherapy and creative counseling methods. She previously was the program’s operations team lead. She joined CHAPS as an intern in 2009 and is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh.

Ryan Kauth is the new director of UW-Green Bay’s Small Business Development Center. He most recently was an assistant vice president and business development officer for First Bank Financial Centre, an Oconomowoc-based bank specializing in Small Business Administration loans.

Dr. Mokenge Malafa and Scott Wochos have joined the UW-Green Bay Foundation Board of Directors. Both are graduates of the college. Malafa is affiliated with the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute at the University of South Florida and Wochos is senior vice president of Green Bay Packaging.

SuAnn Detampel is the new controller for UW-Green Bay. She had served in the position in an interim basis since March and previously was the assistant controller and budget officer. Detampel joined the college in 2001 as a senior accountant.

H.C. Miller in Green Bay recently added three members to its board of directors: Jim Kalny, an attorney with Davis & Kuelthau; Scott Fischer of Scott D. Fischer & Associates; and Roger Schreiber, ESOP trustee for H.C. Miller.

John Hager, an attorney with Hager, Dewick and Zuengler SC, was included in The Best Lawyers of America 2013.

Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP recently promoted eight employees in its Appleton office: Dan Buttke to senior manager with the financial services team; Ben Deering to senior accountant for the manufacturing team; Carrie Fryman and Travis Glennon to managers with the construction/real estate team; Doug Kohanski to senior benefits specialist with Baker Tilly Retirement Services; Chris Skrobutanas to manager with the manufacturing team; Amy Springer to senior manager of the manufacturing team; and Tom Whalen to senior accountant with the tax, accounting and advisory group.

Northern Electric Inc. hired Nicole Bloedorn as a project engineer. She comes from a large electrical contractor in Minneapolis and has degrees in architectural engineering and construction management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Linda Wilke has been named branch manager for the Associated Bank Festival Foods branch in Manitowoc. She has been with the bank for 10 years and previously was assistant manager.

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary has named Ben Nelson as assistant director. He brings 14 years of wildlife and environmental conservation experience to his new role. Nelson received degrees in biology and environmental science from UW-Green Bay.
