Jay Schumerth, who previously held the position, has taken a job as vice president of operations for another hotel management company. Peter Thillman was named vice president of economic development for the Fox Cities Regional Partnership.

Security Health Plan of Wisconsin Inc. named Robert Steiner, M.D. as medical director. Werner Electric Supply promoted Tom Fechter to director of sales at its corporate branch in Appleton. Red Shoes PR Inc. hired Carol Ladish as business manager and Raquel Lamal as content associate.

Deanne Beaumier joined Exceptional Equestrians as volunteer coordinator. Nurse practitioner Vicky Romanski joined Wise Woman Wellness. Patti Andresen-Shew has been named chair of the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board’s One-Stop Standing Committee.

Michelle Mulloy, a senior manager at Schenck’s Green Bay location, became certified as an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.

Family medicine physician Taha El-Shahat is transitioning his medical practice to the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic’s Family Medicine Department. Dyslexia Reading Connection Inc., Appleton, appointed Kimberly Stevens as executive director.

Will Robinson was named vice president of marketing and public relations for the Fox Valley SHRM chapter. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. and the University of Wisconsin System announced Rebecca Deschane was named talent initiatives director.

Strang, Patteson, Renning, Lewis & Lacy, S.C. promoted attorney Jenna E. Rousseau to a shareholder of the firm. First Weber hired agents Shelby Hadley and Heather Bahena. Burk Tower received an outstanding service award at the Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corp.’s Courtside Report event.

John F. Hager of Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C., Green Bay, was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Kay Schomer, customer service representative supervisor, and Adam Orth, business cash management officer, received the Stephenson National Bank & Trust Award of Excellence. Primrose Retirement Community of Appleton hired Breeze Skorupski as executive director. Lamal Water-Right hired Gary Bauer as CustomCare manager. Werner Electric Supply hired Anthony Korchagin as Datacom product manager.

Jason Frisch joined H.J. Martin and Son as an estimator in the national retail solutions division. Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts announced Amber Waas will handle rental sales for the organization.

EAA CEO and Chairman of the Board Jack J. Pelton was one of six recipients of the annual Wesley McDonald Distinguished Statesman of Aviation award. He also received the Federal Aviation Administration’s Friend of Safety award and was inducted into the Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame. Ryan Batley, food and beverage director of the Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel in Neenah, received the Heroic Hospitality Stars Award as Food and Beverage Employee of the Year.
