McMahon promoted Craig Sachs and Sam Pociask as associates. Sachs, a senior architect, has 22 years of experience in planning and design of commercial, educational and institutional facilities in Northeast Wisconsin. Pociask, senior GIS analyst/project manager, is the Geographic Information Systems Department leader.

Matt Kasdorf was hired as senior vice president/chief credit officer at The Business Bank in Appleton. He has more than 33 years of banking experience.

Associated Bank promoted Julie Heidemann to personal trust administrator. She has 15 years of financial planning experience. Rachel Juley joined the bank as vice president, human resources business partner. Previously, she was a talent acquisition specialist with Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance. Brendan Marston was hired as a branch manager with 15 years of banking and lending experience. Nathan Vanden Branden was hired as vice president, district manager with more than six years of banking experience. Bob Kapla was promoted to senior vice president of the Associated Operations and Technology division. Kapla was an application support manager at School Specialty.

Vicki Updike was selected as part of the New North Inc. board of directors. Updike has been president of Miles Kimball, now Silver Star Brands, in Oshkosh since 2010. She also has eight years of experience as Miles Kimball’s vice president of marketing.

Margaret Farrow, member of Acuity’s board of directors and a former lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, won the Margaret Thatcher Award for her contributions, courage and leadership in Wisconsin.

Christa Baldridge, CPA, was hired as Schenck SC senior tax manager with more than 14 years of experience at a regional accounting and advisory firm. The following Schenck employees received promotions: In the Fox Cities, Eric Aronson was promoted to audit manager; Sarah Burt was promoted to supervisor; Jeremiah Gamble was promoted to supervisor; David Fochs, Jr., CPA, was promoted to senior accountant; Michael Ziemer, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant; Nick Boone was promoted to staff accountant; Julie Pulda was promoted to department executive administrative assistant; Brian Zahn was promoted to senior practice consultant for Schenck’s Health Services Team.

In Fond du Lac, Michelle Urban, EA, was promoted to manager; Jessica Lee, CPA, was promoted to supervisor; Paul Westberg, CPA, was promoted to supervisor; Meghan Kuehnl, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant; Bryan Lehner, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant; Danielle Neitzel was promoted to associate accountant II.

In Green Bay, Michelle Mulloy, CPA, was promoted to manager; Janean Robenhorst, CPA, was promoted to manager in the government and not-for-profit services department; Jill Dequaine, PHR, was promoted to human resources manager; Ryan Sonnenberg, CPA, was promoted to supervisor; Jesse Ledvina, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant; Gregory Metzler, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant; Ryan Ritchay, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant in the government and not-for-profit services department; Michelle Flynn was promoted to associate accountant IV.

In Manitowoc, Peter Fylling, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant and Missy Stuckmann, CPP, was promoted to accounting services coordinator.

In Sheboygan, Justin Schneider, CPA, was promoted to manager; Michael Gries, CPA, and Kendall Melichar, CPA, were promoted to supervisor; Sara Feider, Kimberly LaPoint, CPA, and Sandra Lisowe, CPA, were promoted to senior accountant; Renee Hilbelink, CPA, was promoted to senior accountant in the government and not-for-profit services department; and Tamara Hansen, Corey Kappers, Judy Reimer, Beth Stevens, Christine Wigg were promoted to associate accountant IV and Jeremy Senkbeil was promoted to associate accountant II.

Jeanne Agneessens, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership director of education and leadership and program manager, was honored with the 2013 Leadership Wisconsin Modeling the Way Award for the significant impact her leadership skills have had in Wisconsin. Thomas Lyga was hired as the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce director of education and leadership. He has more than 26 years of leadership, development and training experiences.

Dr. David Mikolyzk was hired as orthopedic hand surgeon at Prevea St. Mary’s Health Center in Green Bay. He will provide hand and wrist surgery and care for patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, thumb arthritis and hand and wrist trauma.

Consolidated Construction Company added Chris Sievert to the company’s project management team. He has been a project manager since 2008. Jackie Olson was hired as accounting assistant with her Lakeland College accounting degree. Karen Kapal was hired as a project assistant. She has more than 20 years of previous project and accounting experience in construction and real estate.

Trish Poole, certified consulting hypnotist from the Green Bay area, presented at the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference in Northbrook, Ill.

Greg Lemke-Rochon, chief professional officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley, received the Horizon Award and the 2013 Midwest Executive of the Year Award as a national member of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ The Professional Association.

Melissa Babcock was hired as Integrity Insurance’s new personal lines underwriting manager. She has been with the company since 2005.

Insight Creative hired Shawna Frisque-DuBois as senior account executive with more than 20 years of sales and customer service experience. Insight Creative also hired Jenny Brandenburg as media/traffic coordinator with more than five years experience as the Oshkosh Northwestern’s account relationship specialist.

Dr. George Negrete was hired as a ThedaCare general surgery physician at ThedaCare Physicians-Waupaca. He specializes in minimally invasive surgical interventions. Dr. Maria Vandenberg was hired as a physician specializing in obstetrics/gynecology at the Women’s Care of Wisconsin in Appleton. She also will practice at Theda Clark Medical Center and Appleton Medical Center. Dr. Vandenberg’s areas of interest include adolescent care, high- and low-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive surgery and in-office procedures. Dr. Erin Trost was hired as a family practitioner at ThedaCare Physicians-Oshkosh. Dr. Trost has a special interest in chronic disease management, elderly care and minor office procedures.

Ashley Tessmer was hired as the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce account representative. She was most recently a marketing consultant at J and J Broadcasting LLC in Michigan.

Julie Ujazdowski was hired as the Fox Communities Credit Union consumer loan officer in Appleton. She has more than 15 years of lending experience.

The Daily Reporter of Milwaukee chose Dave Schaetz, director of conceptual estimating for Miron Construction Co. Inc., for a lifetime achievement award as part of its 2013 Newsmakers of the Year awards program.

Wisconsin Employee Benefits Advisors selected Chris Hanson, an Appleton-based health insurance consultant and agent, to the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin Board of Directors. Hanson has more than 25 years in health care and health care insurance.

Katie McCarty is the new owner of Erika’s Bridal Couture in Neenah. She has a master’s degree in accounting from UW-Madison.

Erica Dakins was hired as social media and marketing specialist for Lamers Bus Lines. Dakins has experience in social media and public communications with Kaukauna Area School District.

Zack Pawlosky, president of Candeo Creative marketing agency, received the Propel Young Professional Award for making a difference in the Oshkosh community by starting his own marketing agency at age 20 while attending UW-Oshkosh and working another part-time job. He also serves on the Propel Oshkosh steering committee.

Matt McGregor was hired as a project manager at Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction Inc. in Appleton. McGregor has six years of industry experience including a previous stint as an assistant field superintendent with Hoffman. Hoffman Senior Project Designer Catherine Cruickshank and Project Architect Julie Heiberger presented at the Resource Center for Religious Institutes National Conference in Anaheim, Calif.

Mary Ellen Gillespie was hired as UW-Green Bay’s new director of intercollegiate athletics.

Mandi Kohlmetz was hired as an Ad Quest Promotions, Inc. account executive with 20 years of experience in integrated marketing communications, as a non-profit independent consultant and as a private college instructor.

Recipients of the Current Young Professionals’ Spirit of Current Award are: WLUK FOX 11/WCWF CW 14, Jackie Oliver and Jeanne Agneessens.

The Wisconsin Chapter of Meeting Professionals International announced that Carina Wilz of Fox Valley Technical College received the Kristin Bjurstrom Krueger, CMP Scholarship.
