Progress Lakeshore announced Peter Wills has been named executive director of the organization. He previously held the position of program and finance director and has more than 18 years of experience in finance, management and community outreach.

St. Norbert College announced Amy Kundinger as director of corporate and foundation relations and promoted Lynette Green to associate vice president of college advancement. Amy Sorenson, the college’s chief of staff, was named De Pere’s Volunteer of the Year during the 24th annual Wisconsin Main Street Awards dinner for her work with Definitely De Pere, the city’s official main street community.

Schenck SC announced Steve Hyde joined the firm as chief information officer and director of technology services. As a member of Schenck’s Business Optimization team, Hyde will also provide technology and systems integration consulting to clients. The firm also announced Kristine Hackbarth-Horn, SPHR, CCP, CBP, SHRM-SCP, joined the firm as director of people and culture.

Cherney Microbiological Services, Ltd., promoted Brian Van de Water to president, a move that will enable Debra Cherney to focus on the company’s rapid growth and ensure the execution of its strategic initiatives.  Cherney will assume the role of CEO. The company also announced Michael Timmer as sales manager.

Women in Management-Fox Cities Chapter announced Beth Clay as the 2015 Fox Cities Woman Leader of the Year. Clay is the executive director of NAMI Fox Valley. During her four years of leadership, NAMI increased the number of community members served by 500 percent and doubled the number of community-based education and support programs.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center announced Trisha Witt as the new director of marketing and communications. Witt joins the performing arts center with more than 17 years of experience in marketing as a commercial program manager for Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

School Specialty, Inc. announced the appointment of Kymm Ballard as executive director of SPARK, a physical and health education program and key component of School Specialty’s Physical Education offering.

Element, a full-service marketing agency located in Northeast Wisconsin, added two employees to its team: Joel Haase, art director/designer, and Kate Shropshire, digital marketing specialist.

First National Bank-Fox Valley hired Todd Brokl as assistant vice president-commercial lending and promoted Molly Moran to treasury management specialist.

H.J. Martin & Son promoted Ryan Foley from fixture crew manager to vice president of field operations.

The company also hired Amy Diedrich, interior designer, for its residential sales and design team at its Green Bay location, and promoted Jeremy Hilker from tool room lead to fixture crew coordinator.

Cypress Benefit Administrators hired Mary Flannery as a new account executive.

GRAEF, a local engineering and consulting firm, announced Christopher Harding has joined the firm as a survey technician and Scott Van Calster has joined the firm as a civil technician.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley announced Sue Vang, a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Appleton and senior at Appleton East High School, is the winner of the Kayla M. Murphy Memorial Scholarship.

SECURA Insurance Senior Vice President-Claims Scott Huiras will retire in August after 38 years of service. The company is promoting Larry Wright to take over leadership of its claims division upon Huiras’ retirement.

Jason Kauffeld joined Green Lake Conference Center’s staff as director of nonprofit relationships. He is a certified program planner with 16 years of national and international experience in community outreach, staff supervision, organizational capacity building and project implementation.

Charlie Schmalz, president/CEO of East Wisconsin Savings Bank, Kaukauna, received the Excellence in Advocacy Award from the American Bankers Association.

Investors Community Bank in Manitowoc hired Elena Staabs as an agricultural credit analyst II.

Hager, Dewick & Zuengler, S.C., a law firm located in Green Bay, announced Nicholas J. Linz joined the firm as an associate attorney.  A native of Green Bay, Linz is a 2004 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a 2007 graduate of Marquette University Law School.

BPM announced Randy Cohorst, paper mill manager of BPM Inc., retired. Ryan Day has been named paper mill manager of BPM and will oversee all aspects of the paper manufacturing process of the mill’s paper machines.

U.S. Gain, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., hired Brandon Henderson and Mike McLouth as business development managers to grow the GAIN Clean Fuel compressed natural gas network.

BriMark Builders promoted Stu Sell to the position of president of construction.

Troy Kasper joined Lakeside Packaging Plus as production coordinator of its Oshkosh facility. Kasper will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of production staff.

Hometown Bank added Sheila Schabo-Stuyvenberg to its commercial banking team as senior vice president, commercial products/treasury management.

Candeo Creative announced several new team members have joined from eBiz Results, which closed: Gretel Achterberg and Stephen Heyes, web developers; Katie Konop, communication specialist; Kayla Pulvermacher, graphic designer; and Mike Pulvermacher, technical manager of web marketing services. In addition, the company filled several vacancies, including: Maribeth Theusch, office manager; Marcus Dumke, account manager; Thomas Conn, communication specialist; and Victoria Bates, graphic designer.

Integrity Insurance announced Field Sales Director Cathy Beaudin was named Company Representative of the Year by the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association.

Michael Harrawood and Eli Parker joined the sales staff at LaForce Inc. as aftermarket sales representatives.

Aubrey Wisen joined Schaper, Benz & Wise Investment Counsel, Inc., as investment operations specialist.

Steven Magill, MD, PhD, joined Agnesian HealthCare as an endocrinologist. Magill will see patients at St. Agnes Hospital, 430 E. Division St., Fond du Lac.

Prevea Health welcomed Dr. Douglas Chyatte, a neurosurgeon specializing in the areas of spinal surgery, brain tumors, aneurysms and other health issues affecting the central and peripheral nervous system.

ThedaCare welcomed Sarah Newburg, PA-C, a certified physician assistant who will serve as a hospitalist at Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.

Cassie Alfheim, student assistant with the office of Grants and Research, was named UW-Green Bay’s Student Employee of the Year and received the same award for the UW-System.

Attorney Jodi Arndt Labs from the Law Firm of Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry was selected by the Wisconsin Law Journal as one of the 2015 Women in the Law. Labs has practiced with the firm since 1999 and serves as the chairperson of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Environmental Law Section Board of Directors. She has been the Program Chair of the past two Annual Environmental Law Update seminars.
