Daniel Barnett, keynote speaker

It’s an age-old question for many leaders: How do I execute the vision of my company without getting lost in the daily details?

Daniel Barnett can answer that for you at THINC! 2015.

Barnett is the keynote speaker for this year’s event, Insight Publication’s Technology & Human Innovation Networking Conference. This year’s event takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. on May 19 at James W. Perry Hall, UW-Fox Valley Communications Arts Center, Menasha.

Barnett will present “Make or Break Execution — The Core of Success,” to help business leaders find the balance between articulating their business vision while also providing leadership that doesn’t get bogged down by the urgent “alligators” faced daily. His talk is sponsored by TEC.

The session will help business leaders identify things that matter most to achieving their “make-or-break” vision. The interactive experience features plenty of learning opportunities that can be put to use immediately.

Barnett is the CEO and owner of The Primavera Co., a real estate and natural gas company. He has experience working for international corporations such as Nestle, Pillsbury and Weyerhauser. He has also appeared regularly on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal to speak on CEO confidence and leadership.

Following the keynote, the Insight Innovation awards will be announced. The awards will give recognition to innovation champions throughout the New North, affirming how disruptive ideas are challenging the status quo all over the region — and why innovation must be embraced to build our economy.
