Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin celebrates 125 years

Here for kids since 1894.
From horse and buggy days through epidemics and miraculous medical advances, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has been delivering the specialized care and support kids need to live healthier, happier lives. Over the past 125 years, a lot has changed. But our desire to bring children the best care and brightest future remains the same.

Today our hospital, with locations in Milwaukee and Neenah, is recognized as one of the nation’s leading pediatric health care organizations. We are the only health care system in Wisconsin 100 percent dedicated to kids. We make nearly 2 million connections with kids and families in Wisconsin and beyond every year.

In northeast Wisconsin, our services include a hospital with a neonatal intensive care unit and a pediatric unit, outpatient specialty clinics at multiple locations and community programs and resources to support strong families.

We also work beyond the walls of our hospitals and clinics to ensure kids stay safe and healthy.

Our mission includes:

Care – advancing care in clinical and community settings
Advocacy – speaking up for kids
Research – finding hope in new treatments and cures
Education – teaching kids, parents and tomorrow’s health care providers

From our founding, we have been able to achieve our mission in part through support from individuals, corporations and foundations – and we still rely on the generosity of our community. We need you to share our story, advocate for laws that support kids, volunteer and fundraise.

Help us help kids!
