Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce opened nominations for its annual Wisconsin Business Friend of the Environment Awards Program.
The Business Friend of the Environment Awards celebrate companies that have implemented impactful environmental practices such as improving energy efficiency, reducing waste and emissions, conserving natural resources, and developing sustainable products or processes.
Nominations are open to the public. Private companies of all industries that demonstrate sound environmental leadership are encouraged to self-nominate. Eligible applicants must be headquartered or have significant operations in Wisconsin. Applicants must demonstrate a significant improvement they have undertaken or completed in the 2025 calendar year in sustainability, environmental stewardship, or environmental innovation.
The winners will be selected by a panel of independent judges representing the business community, government, and environmental nonprofits. Applications are due June 12.
