From humble beginnings with a box of nails, a few hammers and beat up pallets waiting for repair, SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet has grown to become a local leader in all types of wood products and pallets to service hundreds of customers all over the state of Wisconsin. Who is SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet?
Each day SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet produces several types of new and recycled wood products for all different types of businesses and companies in the area. From a company shipping several truckloads per day day of medical, cardboard or plastic products on a pallet, to storing cheese on a pallet in a warehouse, wood products hit just about every business. Producing a ubiquitous product has allowed SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet to sell to large and small businesses, no matter the industry.
From a modest start in a small warehouse with three part-time employees to 30 years later, SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet has grown and expanded to 100 employees and three locations spread across Northeast Wisconsin. The company’s current capabilities and extensive footprint allow them to provide the best care and attention to their customers all over the state.
Family- and veteran-owned business
SCP Inc. & Evergreen Pallet started as and will always remain a family- and veteran-owned small business, currently under the leadership and direction of its second generation. Robert and Patricia Luedtke started the business with another close friend, Bill Reffke. Robert and Patricia have now passed it on to their two sons, Joe and Charlie, to continue for the future. The third generation is still young, but succession plans are already underway for the next phase of the business. The current company leadership has a strong passion for what we do and how we do it. Their goal is to continue to grow all three locations and provide a home for the next generation of company leaders.

No matter the size of the order, time of day or how quick a customer needs something, SCP Inc. & EverGreen will strive to fulfill their customers’ needs. They continue to provide their customers with the highest level of customer service and reliability in the area. In addition to having great customers, SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet values all of its team members with a strong employee first and safety focused approach. Safety is paramount to any business, but the key leaders of SCP Inc. & EverGreen Pallet have made it a daily emphasis and initiative to minimize accidents and injuries. The company is very fortunate to have several key employees with more than 20 years of service still working there today.
Joe and Charlie Luedtke lead the second-generation pallet company with 100% hands on approach, being active and engaged in all facets of the business. They both take great pride in taking care of their employees and have recently pushed toward an automation focus to make every job easier and safer. “We are beyond blessed to be in business for 30 years and excited for the future,” Joe Luedtke said.
