The Fox Valley Humane Association announced a $100,000 matching gift from Mary Beth Nienhaus.

This leadership gift kicks off a community-wide matching campaign running through Dec. 31 during which all donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000.

“Our community has always had a strong heart for animals, and this incredible gift from Mary Beth is an invitation to come together in that spirit of compassion,” said Kathi Seifert, FVHA Board Chair. “Her support enables us to meet the growing demand for our services and ensure that no animal is turned away from the help they deserve.”

FVHA serves thousands of animals each year, providing medical treatment and shelter. Donations made during this match will fund urgent medical treatment, rescue efforts, behavioral support, and daily shelter needs.

“I believe deeply in the mission of the Fox Valley Humane Association,” said Nienhaus. “They are on the front lines when animals are rescued from hoarding situations, abuse, or neglect—and they do it with compassion and commitment. This is a chance for all of us to come together and support the vital work of FVHA. I hope my match inspires others to give generously, helping to provide safety and healing for every animal who needs it.”
