Accelerate Sheboygan County awarded $2,000 to the winners of its Pitches & Pizza event at 3 Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan.
The event was hosted with help from the FIRE Consortium and WEDC. Around 60 attendees gathered for an evening of free pizza, networking, and entrepreneurial energy while listening to local entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to the crowd.
First place was awarded to Liz Kroll for her Laundry Bus concept, while second place went to RAW TEK founder Ricky Wakefield. Third place was awarded to JoAngela Klima for Alive N Vibrant. Additional Innovation Council awards were presented to Vera Trepanier, who earned the overall Best Pitch recognition voted on by the Sheboygan County Innovation Council, and Grace Hameister of FoodFixr.
