Developer Briefing
Karen Harkness
– Director of Community and Economic Development, City of Appleton
Kara Homan
– Director of Development and Land Services, Outagamie County
Future population growth will increase pressure for land development across the nation, state, region and City of Appleton. The demand for housing, particularly low to moderate incomes and affordable price points, is a critical driver because growth cannot occur without places for people to live. Karen Harkness and Kara Homan shared regional and local data regarding housing demand, development, rehabilitation, affordability needs and market forecasts.
