Growth at Redline Plastics — which offers rotational molding, vacuum forming, commercial sewing and other key capabilities — “has been immense and has demanded much focus,” says President Nick Murray. In the past six years, the company has grown from about 30 employees to more than 180, as well as $23 million in revenue.
Redline opened a new 117,000-square-foot facility in 2019 and added another 103,000 square feet in 2021. In March 2023, the company acquired a second manufacturer in Hartwell, Georgia, opening up a new region. Redline also installed a large-format 3D printer in its engineering lab in August and has begun creating prototype parts for current customers.
That commitment to innovation, strategic acquisitions and substantial investments in its state-of-the-art facility have all led to the company’s exponential growth, Murray says.
“Beyond the numbers, our success is deeply rooted in fostering a workplace culture that attracts and retains talent, creating an environment where individuals thrive,” Murray says. The company has won Plastic News’s Best Places to Work award three years in a row.
“Our objective is to break the mold of how manufacturing companies typically operate,” Murray says, “and be a leader in creating a work environment people actually want to work in.”
