In operation since 1849, Menasha Corporation has grown to 110 locations across North America and Europe, and the company doesn’t have any plans to slow down. Through its two businesses, Menasha Packaging Company and ORBIS Corporation, the company is a key supply chain partner for more than 3,500 global brands, says President and CEO Christopher Drees.
“Our presence and reach help differentiate us in the market,” Drees says.
The company, which designs and manufactures sustainable corrugated and reusable packaging and provides fulfillment services, recently underwent what Drees calls the “tremendous task” of consolidating to one enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. “We are just now leveraging all the benefits and capabilities of the new system,” he says.
Drees says “the most difficult element of growth is ensuring the right people are in place to effectively execute the growth plan;” therefore, the company has implemented a comprehensive workforce strategy during the past three years.
