The last few years have brought rapid growth to Packer Fastener, which was founded in 1998. The industrial supplier added four new locations for a total of 10 in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota, with plans to grow to 13 over the next few years. The company also is in the process of consolidating its Green Bay facilities into one new 128,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center, says President Jason Ledvina.
With a newer national sales arm already in place, Ledvina says the company, which carries a vast inventory of threaded fasteners and other supplies for commercial contractors and fabricators, aims to continue growing its presence throughout the nation — including with brick-and-mortar locations.
Packer Fastener has expanded its e-commerce channels and industrial vending to improve traceability and trackability of products, and it has added new product lines as well as kits and prefabrication to offer more value for its customers.
It also continues to strongly emphasize its people-centric company culture. “It’s a huge component as to how we’ve been able to scale our talent,” says Amy Seehafer, chief operating officer. “We have focused heavily on growing our sales leadership talent that allows us to expand geographically.”
