Founded in 2008, Midwest Restoration deals with challenges on a daily basis: It’s a provider of emergency property damage restoration services for businesses and homeowners.
When the company opened new locations in Sturgeon Bay and Wausau, it experienced its own internal challenge, says CEO Coyne Boree. The company’s customer service level dropped because the surge in growth impacted communication, he says.
So the company, which is recognized as an Inc. 5000’s America’s Fastest Growing Private Company, hired more office staff and added automated systems that helped clean up and restore the service level.
“AI has been a great tool with customer retention, reducing the acquisition cost and staying ahead of our local competition when it comes to technology and systems,” he says.
For other growing companies, Boree says “take the leap of faith and hire good management. Learn to delegate. It’s okay to fail — you learn more from your losses than your wins.”
Midwest Restoration plans to open two more locations in Wisconsin and expand into Iowa. And in the near future, Midwest Restoration is adding laser cleaning, “which will open up an entire new line of revenue, customers and clients,” Boree says.
