Founded in Appleton in 1972 as Town & Country Electric, Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) has undergone big growth in the past 50‑plus years. The comprehensive provider of engineering, manufacturing and installation of electrical systems and solutions has made several strategic shifts that have allowed the company to expand both its capabilities and geographic reach, says CEO and chairman of the board Mike Jansen.

One of the most defining moments in FTI’s recent growth was a fundamental pivot from  a traditional contractor structure to  “a total solutions model and the formation  of FTI as a unified parent brand,” Jansen says. That decision meant FTI could be  “a fully integrated partner capable of delivering end‑to‑end solutions across the entire project lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to construction, installation and long‑term service.”

The alignment of FTI’s divisions meant the elimination of silos, improving speed to market and a more seamless experience for customers, Jansen says. That integrated approach “has enabled us to take on larger, more complex projects while expanding into high‑growth sectors such as data centers, advanced manufacturing and energy infrastructure.” FTI’s divisions include EnTech Solutions and Excellerate branches in Little Chute and in Olathe, Kansas.

Additionally, the company’s key focus on safety “is the reason many clients continue to choose us,” Jansen says. FTI has earned several national and regional recognitions for safety and overall performance, and it also has been recognized for a focus on worker well‑being, including by the Healthiest Employers’ Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America list.

FTI has built a Culture of Care in which team members feel “valued, supported and safe,” Jansen says, which is one of the reasons the company has been able to scale its workforce to keep up with rapid growth.

“Like many growing companies, one of our biggest challenges has been finding enough skilled people to support demand,” Jansen says. FTI is meeting this challenge “by creating an environment where team members want to stay and by rewarding them for helping to bring in new talent.” In 2025 alone, FTI hired 1,832 new workers, with about 63% of those coming through referrals, Jansen says.

In recent months, FTI added new manufacturing facilities in Opelika, Alabama; El Paso, Texas; and Pittsboro, Indiana. “These investments significantly expand our manufacturing footprint, bringing capacity closer to high‑growth regions, reducing logistics complexity and enabling faster, more scalable project delivery nationwide,” Jansen says.
