Most people who encounter Brian Elmer are surprised to learn he’s a talented photographer in addition to his role at Capital Credit Union. “I think it stems from the fact that my daily work in the investment space is very technical and analytical in nature, and photography is such a creative endeavor,” Elmer says. “At face value the skillsets are seemingly polar opposites.”
He and his wife, Allie, have owned their photography business, Allie & Brian Photography LLC, for the past five years.
Elmer says his faith has been instrumental in every aspect of his life, including his professional endeavors. In the community, he supports efforts to develop future leaders.
At Capital Credit Union, one of Elmer’s primary goals is “to scale up our team and program, aiming to reach a broader audience and provide access to critical financial information to as many people as possible,” he says. “We can create a ripple effect of positive change when we empower people to achieve financial stability and security.”
