VP of Donor Engagement / Age 33
On Broadway
At the age of 25, Brooke Hafs was offered the morning anchor position at NBC26, a role that made her a two-time Emmy award-winning journalist. When a new opportunity came three years ago to move on to On Broadway, she took it. “I was ready for a change of pace, and I wanted to do something that made an impact in our community,” Hafs says.
In her role, Hafs has been the primary fundraiser for the Green Bay Public Market capital campaign. “Once that project is complete, I would like to continue propelling the Broadway District forward with more large-scale economic development projects,” she says. Hafs also wants to see Green Bay’s downtown become more pedestrian-focused: “We need a more walkable city.”
Hafs, who is a member of the 2024 Leadership Green Bay Class, supports “anything that encourages people to be the best version of themselves, getting outside, and staying active.” She also penned a children’s book, illustrated by Rachel Joanna, called “A Tree Named Ted,” which helps teach kids how to healthily manage problems and stress. She’s also a certified yoga teacher, a mother of five and can juggle.
