During the pandemic, Dan Brosman helped create the Digital Marketing Clinic (DMC), an initiative of the Wisconsin SBDC Network to support small businesses statewide with their digital marketing challenges. “The DMC has provided hands-on technical assistance to 300-plus small businesses throughout Wisconsin and has provided internship experiences for dozens of students,” Brosman says.
Brosman has first-hand experience as an entrepreneur, having established Dan’s Odd Jobs during high school to help neighbors with miscellaneous projects. Plus, he and his wife, Sarah, own the Oshkosh Pedal Trolley, a 14-person party bike that operates in the city’s downtown.
Brosman supports efforts in the community that are aligned with small business development. “This includes workforce development initiatives, business attraction and retention efforts, support to underserved areas, increased access to financial services and greater regional collaboration,” Brosman says.
He plans to continue on an entrepreneurial pathway while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He and Sarah have a baby son named Ledger as well as a black Lab named Scooter.
