Boys & Girls Clubs of the Bay & Lakes Region
Taylor DeBroux effectively led organizational change efforts for the Boys & Girls Club of the Bay & Lakes Region, “including overseeing the work of integration teams during the 2023 merger between our Door County, Green Bay and Shawano Clubs,” says nominator Johanna Wicklund. “Taylor is also the moral compass of the organization, leading with a personal code of ethics and integrity that is contagious.”
DeBroux, who has been with the organization for 12 years, hopes to become “a greater contributor and change agent in the Green Bay community through volunteer work, social justice advocacy and perhaps by becoming a resource parent.”
DeBroux is concerned about economic hardship in Northeast Wisconsin. “Addressing the root causes of and providing resources for those living in poverty or within the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) threshold would enhance quality of life of everyone in our communities and improve the economic well-being of the region,” she says.
