In 2016, while attending college, Brooke Knowles made what turned out to be a pivotal decision: She attended a kinesiology club meeting for the first time. There, she met Nutritional Healing owner Kimberly Stoeger (a past 40 Under 40 awardee). A couple of months later, Knowles was working with Stoeger part time.
Knowles, who earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science and consumer wellness, has now been with Nutritional Healing for nine years.
Knowles says the most rewarding part of her career has been seeing the changes Nutritional Healing’s team makes in people’s lives. As a business that thrives on face-to-face interaction, the pandemic posed a huge challenge, she says. But the staff was able to develop a virtual platform. “Five years later, we help people all over the country get their health back,” Knowles says.
Knowles hopes her legacy is that people she encounters believe “that I took the time to really listen to their story and try to align proper solutions to help them reach their goals.” She also hopes to be seen as helpful both in the workplace and in the community.
