In the early days of the pandemic, the “world was shutting down, and everything felt uncertain,” says Meagan Hardwick, who has been with Red Shoes Inc. for 10 years. Suddenly, she was working remotely and managing clients in crisis, “all while trying to balance home life with three very young kids. My oldest was 5 and figuring out virtual school, my 3-year-old needed constant attention, and I had a 6-month-old who didn’t care what meetings I was in!”
“Flexible schedules, late-night work and leaning on my husband and team became essential,” Hardwick says. “That period taught me resilience, how to adapt quickly and the importance of extending grace — to myself, my clients and my family.”
Most rewarding in Hardwick’s career has been “helping clients through their toughest moments,” she says. “Crafting the right message, calming fears and cutting through misinformation make a real difference when it’s needed most.”
Hardwick’s biggest priority “is giving my kids a good life, not just in material ways but by teaching them the values of kindness, resilience and empathy.
“Professionally, I hope to help shape a shift in corporate culture, creating workplaces that prioritize people, flexibility and authenticity,” she says.
