Iron Mountain, Michigan native Chad Bianchi’s first job was as “the best 11-year-old lawn mower in the U.P.!” Later, he earned a degree in economics from UW-Green Bay and then an MBA from UW Oshkosh.
Before he came to Syniverse, “I spent several years living and working as an expat in Zurich, Switzerland for Amcor, which was a great experience,” Bianchi says. “When you first experience something like that, you think ‘how different everyone is.’ But at the end you realize how we’re all the same. It makes the world a much smaller place, which is a good thing.”
Bianchi, who joined Syniverse in 2021 and took on his current role in 2024, is active with professional organizations and nonprofit boards.
Best advice received: Raise your hand; take on more work. And find the most difficult thing to work on and do that.
Favorite causes: My church, first and foremost. I support many causes, particularly if they strengthen families or the lives of children in our community.
Current listening material: With two young boys at home, when I’m not working, I’m usually listening/watching to Paw Patrol or Power Rangers.
