Wisconsin businesses have until Sept. 30 to apply for recognition through the Sustainable Business Council’s Green Masters Program.

The Green Masters Program has helped organizations assess performance, identify priorities, benchmark against peers, and build systems that support continuous improvement. The certification and recognition program provides a practical framework to help businesses prepare, respond, and compete.

“Today’s businesses are being asked more frequently to provide information about their sustainability practices, environmental impacts, workforce initiatives, and governance policies,” said Jessy Servi Ortiz, Executive Director of SBC. “The Green Masters Program helps organizations understand where they stand today, build the systems needed to track and manage performance, and be prepared to respond confidently to customer, supply chain and compliance-related requests.”

The Green Masters Program helps organizations identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve operational efficiency, manage risk, strengthen employee engagement, and uncover cost savings. Participants gain access to benchmarking, real-time scoring, and practical guidance that supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
