CopperStone Assisted Living & Memory Care broke ground for a 75-unit assisted living community in Fox Crossing.
The new CopperStone Assisted Living community will feature a variety of living options, including one-bedroom and studio apartments, and is designed to meet the unique needs of seniors requiring various levels of care as they age. In addition to assisted living services, the facility will also offer specialized memory care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
“CopperStone was created to provide our residents complete access to the care they need for activities of daily living, without the care becoming the focal point of their life. Our mission is to allow families to enjoy the time with their elderly family members, rather than becoming the care entity,” said Nicole Barrett, owner of CopperStone Assisted Living & Memory Care. “We are excited for the opportunity to serve the aging population within the community with this expansion.’
Appleton-based Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. is the general contractor for this development, collaborating with Grunwaldt & Halverson Associates Architecture and Engineering of Madison. Construction is set to begin in December 2024 and is anticipated to be completed in 2025.
The building will span 72,000 square feet and offer 75 private units, including a 20-unit memory care specific community. In addition to the living spaces, residents will also enjoy amenities such as a full-service dining facility, coffee bar, library, and outdoor spaces with walking trails that will promote recreation and relaxation.
CopperStone will also offer its residents 24 hours of personalized care with a team of professionals, and a variety of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Once completed, there will be 50 new job opportunities.
