Airports across Wisconsin will receive more than $38 million in federal funding for infrastructure upgrades – including investments in runways, taxiways, safety and sustainability projects, terminal upgrades, airport-transit connections, and roadway projects.
The funding for these projects comes from Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Grants, a program funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Airports in Northeast Wisconsin will receive $8.2 million including $3.27 million for Appleton International Airport and $2.79 million for Austin Straubel International Airport.
