Cheryl Perkins, who has won awards for her innovative vision, is the keynote speaker at Insight’s ninth annual Technology & Human Innovation Networking Conference (THINC!) starting at 3 p.m. on May 9 at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Fox Valley campus.
Perkins, a respected thought-leader in strategy and innovation, is the founder of Innovationedge, a Neenah consulting firm specializing in strategic innovation and growth for senior executives, entrepreneurs and inventors worldwide. Her innovation career began at Kimberly-Clark Corp., where she worked for more than 20 years as senior vice president and chief innovation officer.
THINC! connects businesses, ideas and people with the insight and resources needed to grow our regional economy. It is designed for CEOs, presidents and community and education leaders, as well as innovation executives, manufacturers, venture capital and angel investors from throughout Wisconsin.
The event also shines a special light on innovation in Northeast Wisconsin and includes the announcement of the 2019 Insight Innovation Awards. Four organizations will be honored in the categories of People, Planet, Process and Product. A special entrepreneurial grit honor also will be awarded.
Following the awards ceremony, a cocktail networking reception will be held.
