Allegiant Airlines will add a nonstop route from Appleton to John Wayne/Orange County, California beginning May 20, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The Los Angeles region is served by six airports. John Wayne airport provides access to the Newport Beach region, golf courses, state and national parks, spas, resorts, Disney, Hollywood, and more.
In addition, Allegiant’s nonstop route to Fort Myers begins service from ATW Nov. 21. The flight will be offered November through early May.
“Appleton is the only Allegiant base in Wisconsin, and they are investing in the continual growth of our airport,” said Airport Director Abe Weber. “Travelers in this part of the state are looking for fast, convenient air travel to major destinations for both business and leisure and Allegiant is responding to that growing demand.”
Allegiant also offers nonstop flights from Appleton to these destinations:

- Phoenix/Mesa, Arizona

- Flights to Florida include Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Sarasota/Bradenton, Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda, Orlando/Sanford, Orlando

- New York/Newark
- Las Vegas
- Savannah/Hilton Head, Georgia
In addition to Allegiant, the Appleton Airport is served by American, Delta, Sun Country, and United Airlines.
