The Professional Disc Golf Association announced that the Ariens Nordic Center in Brillion has been selected as one of the host venues for the 2028 U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championships.
Ariens Nordic Center will open a new disc golf course, adding another outdoor recreation option to the venue’s offering in the summer of 2026. The facility will host the competitors and 2,500 spectators exepcted for the 2028 championships.
“We are thrilled to host the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship and to introduce disc golf at Ariens Nordic Center,” said Managing Director Monica Ariens at Ariens Nordic Center. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our venue, attract visitors to Calumet County and Manitowoc County, and create a world-class disc golf experience for players and fans alike.”
These championships will be hosted in partnership with the Lakeshore Ladies Disc Golf Corporation, based in Manitowoc.

The new course will complement the center’s existing Nordic skiing, biathlon events, and year-round activities, making it a destination for sports enthusiasts across the Midwest.
