The Greater Green Bay Chamber announced the three finalists for the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award.
Since 1985, the Greater Green Bay Chamber has awarded the ATHENA Leadership Award to individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their business or professions, assisted in the advancement of women and devoted time and energy to serving their community.
This year’s finalists demonstrate those ideals:
Jan Allman, CEO, Fincantieri Marinette Marine
Jan strives to lead by example, create space for others to succeed, make decisions rooted in her values and use her platform to drive meaningful change in her organization and the community. She serves as a mentor, speaks to youth about STEM careers and advocates for inclusive hiring practices by always listening first, acting with purpose and empowering others to grow.
Vicki Bayer, Superintendent, Green Bay Area Public School District
Vicki’s leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, service and the belief that leadership is not about the individual but about empowering others to lead with confidence and clarity. She believes service is about showing up consistently and authentically with a commitment to listening to diverse perspectives, finding common ground and working toward shared solutions.
Jessica Diederich, CEO, Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity
Jessica believes leadership is about showing up with integrity, using your voice for others and staying grounded in service. Whether mentoring young professionals, consulting with community members or mobilizing her network to support a cause, she views community engagement as an opportunity to open doors and ensure everyone knows that they belong and can make a difference.
The three finalists will be honored at the ATHENA Legacy Celebration Sept. 23 at Hotel Northland from 4 to 6 p.m.
The 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award recipient is chosen by previous recipients of the award and will be announced at the Greater Green Bay Chamber Annual Celebration happening on Sept. 24 at Oneida Casino Hotel from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
