Aurora Medical Center — Bay Area President Ed Harding will retire April 3.
Upon Harding’s retirement in April, Thomas Miller, president of Aurora BayCare Medical Center, will assume the role as president of Aurora Bay Area in addition to his duties as president of Aurora BayCare in Green Bay.
Harding joined Aurora Health Care in 2010 as president of Aurora Bay Area. Prior to that he as president and chief executive officer at Columbus Cummunity Hospital for a decade.
Harding led a $135 million project to replace the Bay Area Hospital and medical offices and helped create the $25 million Provident Health Foundation. The Wisconsin Hospital Association awarded its 2025 Distinguished Service Award to Harding.
“What stands out most when I look back is our patients and teammates,” Harding said. “I feel profoundly honored to have worked alongside the incredible Aurora Bay Area team and giving meaningful care to our patients.”
