Bliffert Lumber merged with Jauquet Lumber Co. Inc., a family-owned business based in Green Bay.
Founded in 1905, Jauquet Lumber had served Northeast Wisconsin for 120 years. It was owned and operated by third-generation brothers Jim and Joe Jauquet.
“We believe joining the Bliffert family allows us to continue our tradition of outstanding service while positioning us to grow for generations to come,” said Jim Jauquet, co-owner of Jauquet Lumber. “We are very similar in how we do business.”
Bliffert Lumber is a sixth-generation company headquartered in Milwaukee that has 15 locations.
“Nothing makes me happier than welcoming strong, independent lumberyards like Jauquet into our family,” said Eli Bliffert, fifth-generation owner of Bliffert Lumber. “We’re thrilled to expand into the Green Bay area and serve new communities with the same passion and commitment we bring to all of our locations. We are absolutely stronger together.”
The merger was finalized on June 30.
