The Boldt Group, Appleton, named Dave Kievet as its president and chief executive officer to succeed Tom Boldt, who served as president and CEO since 1998 and will remain chairman of the board.

“Since my great-grandfather Martin Boldt opened his carpentry shop in 1889, we’ve been a company that looks to the future,” said Tom Boldt. “Now is the right time to put leaders in place for the next generation and I have every confidence in Dave and our executive team’s ability to take this company into the next 135 years,” he added.

Kievet joined The Boldt Company, a subsidiary of The Boldt Group, in 1990 and has served as the subsidiary company’s president since 2020. During that time, Kievet led Boldt’s expansion into prefabrication and modular construction that saw the company develop and produce mobile critical care units and mobile vaccination clinics during the early years of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Over the past several years we have made remarkable strides forward and I’m excited to continue to build on the legacy the Boldt family has created over the last 135 years,” Kievet said in a media release. “My new role will allow me to focus more on our strategic growth plans and solidifying the processes and structure for even greater future success.”
