The Boldt Company announced Greg Sabel as president.

He succeeds David Thomack, who assumed the role of president of Western Operations for the company’s business in California.

In his new role, Sabel leads The Boldt Company’s executive team and oversees all aspects of company operations—from strategic planning and financial management to client relations, safety and cultural alignment.

“Greg possesses both a depth of experience and the leadership mindset critical to The Boldt Company’s continued growth and success,” said Dave Kievet, President and CEO, The Boldt Group. “He will play a pivotal role in focusing and leading field operations’ work and building on the company’s 136-year legacy.”

Sabel brings more than 25 years of construction industry experience, most recently as executive vice president at C.D. Smith Construction, Inc. where he led project management, field operations, estimating, virtual design and construction, and strategy. He earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

“I’m excited to join Boldt, a company known for its innovation, deep-rooted relationship building and love of the build. I look forward to leading Boldt into its next chapter and helping to shape the future of construction,” said Sabel.
