Tracy Ogden’s dedication to youth development has earned her one of the highest honors in the Wisconsin Boys & Girls Clubs network: induction into its Hall of Fame.

As CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh, Ogden was selected by fellow Wisconsin CEOs who are themselves Hall of Fame recipients.

“It takes a great CEO to manage all of the intricacies involved in making a local Club successful,” said Dan Hebel, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac. “A CEO achieves at a higher level when they extend that passion, knowledge and experience outside of their local Club. Tracy has done that in spades.”

What sets Ogden apart, according to Hebel, is her commitment to the Boys & Girls Club mission on multiple fronts — local, statewide, regional and national.

“Her representation and care for the Club brand sets her apart and is evidence that she cares deeply about our collective role in shaping the lives of young people,” he said.

The Wisconsin Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Clubs across the state, whether through membership, board service, volunteer work or other significant efforts.

Since 2018, five others from the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh have been inducted: Ron Lampe, Jamie Wilcox, Sue Ackerman, Lorie Bunke and Dave Elbing.

Also inducted this year was the Hyde family — Doug and Chrys Hyde along with Peg Wachtel — whose four-decade commitment to the Oshkosh Club has been transformative for the organization.

The Hall of Fame dinner took place Nov. 17 at the Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center during the Wisconsin State Conference.

Under Ogden’s leadership, the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh serves more than 3,000 local youth through membership and outreach programs. The organization has operated in the community for over 55 years, offering age-appropriate programs, mentoring and facilities for an annual fee of just $25 per child.
