The Boys & Girls Club of the Fox Valley announced it will break ground on a new facility in Neenah on Sept. 3.
The new 35,000-square-foot facility will be located at the corner of Byrd and Marathon Avenues and will include a full-size gym, games room, teen lounge and cafe, commercial kitchen, art rooms, workforce readiness studio, makers lab, dance studio, staff offices and lounge.
Fundraising, which is ongoing for the $13 million project with $10 million raised so far, is being led by Tim and John Bergstrom.
The new Boys and Girls Club is expected to serve 1,000 young people and their families annually. A fall 2025 opening is planned.
