Capital Credit Union is sponsoring the Reality Store at Kimberly High School, an interactive educational program that helps high school students experience real-life financial decision-making.
The Reality Store provides students with a hands-on opportunity to explore the financial responsibilities they will face in adulthood. Participants are assigned a career, income, and family scenario and are tasked with managing their budget, making payments, and navigating the financial challenges that come with everyday living.
“As a credit union committed to financial education and community involvement, we are excited to again be sponsoring this impactful event,” said Laurie Butz, president and CEO of Capital Credit Union. “The Reality Store truly aligns with our mission to provide experiences that strengthen our community while also inspiring financial well-being through knowledge and resources. We know from the past that the Reality Store provides students with valuable insights into managing their money and preparing for their futures.”
Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, Capital Credit Union strives to make a positive difference in the lives of students and families across the region.
