In the May issue of Insight, we announced the 2024 Women of Influence in the New North Region honorees. From more than 75 nominations across our 18-county region, our selection committee named eight remarkable women who will be recognized at an awards ceremony Thursday, Aug.1 at 11 a.m. at the Oneida Hotel Casino and Conference Center (formerly known as Radisson Hotel & Conference Center) in Green Bay.
This fifth annual class represents a wide range of influential women who are leading by example in their businesses and communities.
This year’s honorees are:
- Lifetime Achievement:Â Barb LaMue, president/CEO, New North, Inc.
- Mentor: Anna Steinfest, president/CEO, AFF Research, LLC
- Young Influencer: Tara Yang, city commissioner, City of Green Bay
- Business Owner: Joey Reader, president/founder, A-mazing Events LLC
- Volunteer Leader: Alisa Conway, director of IPv4 business development, CONNEXLY
- Corporate Leader: Coreen Dicus‑Johnson, president/CEO, Network Health
- Difference Maker (Nonprofit): Angel Berry, co-founder/executive director, A Million Dreamz
- Difference Maker (Community): Diane MacDonald, executive director, Old Glory Honor Flight
