Amy Bertram and her husband, Ben, dreamed of owning their own business. They eventually discovered Fiberglass Solutions, which they purchased in 2018 — a decision that also allowed the couple to return to the Green Bay area from River Falls and be closer to their families.
“It was at this time I really began my professional career focusing on the finances and operations of our newly acquired business,” says Bertram, who began her career as a special education teacher.
Bertram’s attention to the company’s profitability has contributed to its success. This year, the business received the Growth Award from the Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, it received the Packer Protégé/Mentor Program MVP award. In January, the Bertrams expanded by acquiring Performance Insulation of Wisconsin, LLC.
Bertram, the mother of three children, also received the 2022 Volunteer of the Year award through the Grace School System for Holy Cross Catholic Church; she has organized the school’s charity golf outing for the past three years.
