Brian Ollech worked with several national organizations before joining Network Health more than six years ago, and over the course of his career he has seen successful mergers, acquisitions and multiple ownership changes, he says.
At Network Health, he helped “to turn around a struggling health insurance plan by developing a three-year strategic plan for a return to profitability and growth”— actually completed in two years due to collaborative teamwork, Ollech says.
Ollech’s leadership skills were forged by challenges such as an FBI investigation of a whistleblower compliance case while he was at a public insurance company. The experience shaped his leadership style, including ensuring he keeps morale high and objectives clear during challenging situations.
Ollech volunteers his time with organizations focused on special needs, veterans and youth sports, including as a volunteer girls’ softball coach. He also sponsors annual volunteer time-off activities with employees in his role as Network Health CFO.
“I believe strongly that, in the last third of my professional career, I would like to focus more on ‘returning to’ or ‘giving back’ to the communities I work in and serve,” Ollech says.
