Tammy Wyrobeck spent 17 years of her career working for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community, including a decade as CFO for Mohican North Star Casino. She moved to her role with internet service provider Cirrinity about two and a half years ago, and during her time there she has worked closely with the company’s board of directors, CEO and local bank to refinance debt and open a revolving line of credit. “This allowed us to be able to participate in (federal and state) grant rounds and expand our network,” she says.
As a result, Cirrinity has been able to bring more high-speed broadband into its rural communities. “Our subscribers within our rural market have increased nearly 45% over the past two years,” Wyrobeck says.
Wyrobeck, who earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UW-Green Bay, says her proudest professional moments have involved “breaking down the language barriers found between the financial department and other departments of the organization.” This collaborative culture has helped Wyrobeck create a workflow system that improves accuracy in calculating ROI by project.
