Shortly after joining Green Bay Packaging in 2017, Robert Kim managed the leverage and liquidity of its $750 million paper mill project, implementing what he calls “a strategic financing approach that combined our existing relationship with key financial partners and innovative funding solutions.”

This included an industrial revenue bond and securing significant tax credits and incentives from state and local sources. “This multifaceted financing strategy not only ensured the project’s financial viability, but also reinforced our commitment to local economic growth and sustainability,” Kim says. During his tenure, the company has also successfully acquired six companies and undergone “a significant technology transformation.”

During his tenure at Ball Corporation, Kim played a significant role in the firm’s $8 billion acquisition of Rexam, including testifying during the FTC approval phase.

Kim and his wife, Anna, stay busy with their children, but he also serves on the board of Curative Connections, Inc. and as treasurer for the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
