With about 200% growth at Tweet/Garot during the past 10 years, Jodi Miller-Larson has worked closely with banking partners to ensure the company has enough cash available to keep it climbing. She is also proud to have successfully “negotiated a significantly higher operating line of credit with few restrictive covenants.”

Miller-Larson, the Risk Management Award recipient, also led implementation of the company’s ERP system and assisted in the acquisition of four firms in the last four years.

Formerly a public accountant with Virchow Krause (now Baker Tilly), Miller‑Larson 18 years ago became the part-time accounting manager at Tweet/Garot, giving her the work-life balance to care for her two young boys with her husband, Thad. She would go on to serve as executive director of administration before becoming CFO.

“I try to lead by empowering my teams to be their best selves,” Miller-Larson says. “I encourage personal and professional development equally — a happy employee is an engaged employee, and that benefits everyone.”
