ColorBold accepting applications for entrepreneur program

The ColorBold Business Association, Inc. accepting applicants for the second cohort of the Entrepreneur of Color Collective Grant Program, an initiative designed to empower Entrepreneurs of Color through business grants, education, and mentorship.

Powered by ColorBold and supported by SCORE Mentors of Northeast Wisconsin and the UW–Madison Division of Extension (Outagamie and Winnebago Counties), the program is sponsored by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

Participants will attend six virtual workshops on topics such as Marketing, Branding, Business Planning, Taxes, Inventory Management, and social media. Each entrepreneur will also receive monthly mentorship with SCORE, access to ColorBold’s Community Navigator for one-on-one support, and upon successful completion a $2,500 business grant.

Entrepreneurs living in the following Wisconsin counties may apply: Florence, Marinette, Oconto, Menominee, Shawano, Door, Kewaunee, Brown, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, Marquette, Green Lake, Winnebago, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Sheboygan. They must be for profit businesses with fewer than 25 full-time equivalent employees.
