The Reserve on Arbor Way will build a new senior living community in the Commerce Crossing PUD, adjacent to the Aurora Medical Center in Kaukauna.

It is expected to open in 2026 and employ around 150 full- and part-time employees.

The architecture and design firm EUA, general contractor Consolidated Construction Company, and senior living management company Frontida Management Group are working with The Reserve and the city of Kaukauna to develop the project.

“Our team has been in sync since day one—encouraging each other to be intentional in creating a home and culture where Fox Valley seniors can live and thrive,” said Crystal Miller CEO of Frontida. “It is an amazing experience for all of us that will, in turn, result in a lively community for our residents and a great place to work for our employees.”

The Reserve on Arbor Way will be a campus that features 108 independent living apartment units (in a 4-story midrise tower); a 48-unit residential care apartment complex; and a 56-unit community-based residential facilities building that will specialize in enhanced assisted living and memory care. Some of the highlights of The Reserve’s planned amenities include elevated dining venues, fitness center, physical therapy facilities, salon with massage room, indoor swimming pool, walking paths, and rooftop terrace.

“The idea is for The Reserve to serve as home for seniors as they begin their third act of life,” Miller said. “We are creating a refined and elevated experience without the stuffiness—a casual and comfortable home for Fox Valley seniors who have worked hard to earn a comfortable lifestyle for their retirement.”

The Reserve on Arbor Way, LLC is owned by JFB Enterprises, LLC, a real estate development and investment banking firm based in Wisconsin. James Boris is the president.
