After helping create and launch Green Bay-based venture capital firm TitletownTech nearly seven years ago, founding partner Cordero Barkley announced this week he is leaving the firm, according to BizTimes Milwaukee.

Barkley was one of Insight’s inuagural 40 Under 40 honorees.

TitletownTech is an innovation fund formed out of a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft that builds and funds early-stage high-growth startups.

With more than 40 investments across manufacturing, construction, supply chain and logistics, agriculture, water and energy, digital health, and sports tech, TitletownTech invests in the U.S. and Canada, with a focus on the Midwest.

After attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Barkley began his career in banking and wealth management. In 2019, he joined TitletownTech as a partner and director of finance and investments. His most recent position at TitletownTech was director of program delivery.

“Although I’m stepping away from TitletownTech, I’ll still be here in Green Bay, engaged with a few portfolio companies,” said Cordero in a LinkedIn post. “I’ll be in the background for a bit as I navigate my new opportunity — more to come soon — but please don’t hesitate to reach out.”
