Cruise ship to make stop in Sheboygan

Guilford, Connecticut-based American Cruise Lines, the largest river cruise line in the U.S., has announced a new Great Lakes cruise itinerary that includes stops in Sheboygan, according to BizTimes Milwuakee.

“Cruise ships are an important part of the Great Lakes tourism economy contributing an estimated $300 million in economic impact to the region,” said Amy Wilson, president and CEO of Visit Sheboygan. We’re very excited to welcome American Cruise Lines, and we’re looking forward to guiding them in planning adventurous shore excursions of the Sheboygan area for the American Patriot’s 130 passengers.”

The new Great Lakes cruises will take place aboard the American Patriot, a smaller ship that accommodates up to 130 guests. Amenities include a top deck lounge and walking track, a main restaurant, a chart room, a fitness center, and a laundry room.
